Investor plans to restore historical houses of Kuzyakins' estate in Ufa already in 2019

UFA, 24 July 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Nikolaev/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The Kuzyakins' estate, consisting of two two-story houses – No.50 and No.52 in Tsyurupy Street, classified as identified objects of cultural heritage, will be restored soon. According to the Department of State Protection of Monuments of Cultural Heritage of Bashkiria, the tenant plans to complete the restoration works in 50 Tsyurupy Street (and, possibly, 52) by the end of this year.
The Kuzyakins merchants became the owners of the mansion in 52 Tsyurupy Street, only in 1905, before that several owners had changed here. A few years ago, the historical houses were planned to be restored and used to create a museum in the city of Ufa. However, the project was never implemented, and the objects fell into an unsatisfactory state.
In 2017, the buildings owned by the municipality were transferred to “Association of Islamic Business of the Republic of Bashkortostan” for a period of five years to carry out restoration works. The restoration project was developed by a company licensed to preserve cultural heritage sites and received a positive assessment of the state historical and cultural expertise. It is indicated in the project that houses of the Kuzyakins' estate will be adapted for the needs of modern use.
