Digital technologies research and educational in oil and gas industry is created in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, in the framework of the "Science" National Project, a world-class research and educational center for the digital technologies and new materials development to improve the efficiency of production, transport and deep processing of hydrocarbons in the oil and gas industry is launched. The corresponding order was signed by the Acting Head of the Republic RB Radiy Khabirov.
Ufa, among the 20 other Russian cities, is named as a promising center of economic growth in the Spatial Development Strategy of the Russian Federation, where conditions for the formation of world-class research and educational centers have developed. Total, it is planned to create at least 15 RECs in Russia. Bashkiria claims to be included in the second phase of the project in 2020, according to the Development Corporation RB.
The Bashkir research and educational center will unite the leading scientific and educational organizations of higher education in the region that conduct research and development with enterprises of the real sector of the economy - USPTU, USATU, Bashkir State University, UFRC RAS ​​RB, Academy of Sciences RB.
The Interim Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Lenara Ivanova has been appointed the head of the working group for the project implementation.
As previously reported, a presentation of the REC was held in Moscow within the framework of the educational intensive “Ostrov 10-22” in Skolkovo.
As informed by Bashinform News Agency, Bashkiria has already won the competition for a federal subsidy for the "Education" national project. All eight applications submitted by the Ministry of Education won the competition and the republic was included in the number of recipients of subsidies from the federal budget.
The federal budget for 2019 and for 2020–2021 will have the following funds for the implementation of the federal project “Development of Scientific and Scientific-Production Cooperation” of the “Science” national project: 5.022 billion rubles for 2019, 11.429 billion rubles for 2020, 7.115 billion rubles for 2021.
