Radiy Khabirov arrived in Agidel on working trip

The territory of Bashkir Electric Networks JSC, which was established in April 2018 by order of the Bashkiria Government, became the first to visit by the head of the republic Radiy Khabirov in the city of Agidel. It is planned to create a large industrial park on the site of the unfinished Bashkir NPP. Pavel Bagaev, General Director of Bashkir Electric Networks JSC, said that there were 112 thousand square meters of production space located on 123 hectares. According to him, for 30-40 years, all utilities have become unusable. Many of them require replacement. A railway line should be reconstructed for investors to come to use these sites. The general director of the Bashkir Development Corporation, Rail Sarbaev, told Radiy Khabirov that the total amount of reconstruction was estimated at 318 million rubles. The republic requested 75% of these funds from the federal center. There is already an instruction from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, and negotiations are currently underway with the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

An investment project on the production of membrane roll materials is also planned on this territory. These are roofing and waterproofing materials with a certain type of reinforcement. The equipment for these products is made in the Czech Republic, and about 400 million rubles are required for its purchase. One of the only operating production facilities in the territory of an unfinished nuclear power plant was Jut-ST LLC, which produced silicate bricks. The company director Ruslan Mannanov told Radiy Khabirov that the plant’s products had previously been used to build houses in Ufa. Though the plant ceased operations due to various reasons and fierce competition, as well as the lack of a sales market.

Radiy Khabirov invited the plant director to a meeting in the Construction Hour format next Monday to consider support measures for the brick production resumption in Agidel.
