63 million rubles are allocated for issuing certificates for special-needs children rehabilitation in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 July 2019. /Bashinform News Agency, Azat Gizatullin/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
63 million rubles will be allocated from the budget of Bashkortostan for the issuance of cash certificates to parents who raise special children. The cost of each of them will be 42.8 thousand rubles. The certificate can be used for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with disabilities in any sanatorium or rehabilitation center, regardless of ownership. The Interim Vice-Prime Minister Lenara Ivanova of the Bashkiria government, at a meeting with parents of special-needs children, said that this would allow mothers to use these services without visiting major cities.
“Unfortunately, more than six thousand of our special-needs children did not have an opportunity to receive rehabilitation, now they have it. As instructed by the head of the republic, certificates issuance will begin on September 1”, explained Lenara Ivanova.
According to Radiy Khabirov, the issuance of such certificates will not only help families with special children but also expands the opportunities for businesses that provide such services.
In Bashkiria, a government resolution was also adopted, which approved the regional list of technical means of rehabilitation. They will be delivered free of charge for children with disabilities and people with disabilities of the first group in addition to the federal list.
