NEFAZ plans to invest 149 million rubles in serial production of new model range of buses

UFA, 17 July 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/. This year, NEFAZ plans to implement an investment project related to the development and launch of the mass output of passenger buses of the new 42XX model line up to one thousand units per year.

These will be small buses. The amount of funding will be 149 million rubles.

The prospects for the development of NEFAZ at the plant were discussed by the head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, the general director of KAMAZ Sergey Kogogin and the director of NEFAZ Sergey Zuykov. They inspected the production sites, assembly production of buses. The assembly of low-floor buses, trolley-buses and electric buses for Mosgortrans is conducted there.

On July 15, NEFAZ delivered 20 buses to Bashavtotrans for intercity transportation. Another six buses will be delivered to the state carrier of the republic next week.

Production Director of PJSC "NEFAZ" Boris Haziev told reporters that the company was fully provided with orders for this year.

The volume of domestic products shipped in January-May 2019 amounted to 6 billion rubles; the growth rate exceeded 140%.

The company employs more than 5 thousand people. The average monthly salary is over 37 thousand rubles. This is 18% more than a year ago.

The volume of investments in 2019 reached 31.3 million rubles (an increase of 178%). The export of own products for the five months of this year amounted to 37.6 million rubles.

Radiy Khabirov, together with Sergey Kogogin, the plant management and the general director of the Development Corporation RB Rail Sarbaev, after a tour over the company, held a meeting at which they discussed new plant opportunities.

Public Joint Stock Company "NEFAZ" began its work in the autumn of 1977. The company is the largest Russian plant for the production of special superstructures on the KAMAZ chassis.

Among the largest shareholders of NEFAZ: KAMAZ PJSC (50.02% share in the authorized capital) and the Republic of Bashkortostan (28.50%).

The main activities of the company are the production of dump-truck units, passenger and crew buses, trolley-buses, electric buses, tank loading equipment, trailers and semi-trailers, agricultural equipment, spare parts.
