Unemployment benefits increased in Bashkiria

The average amount of unemployment benefits was 7,005 rubles in Bashkortostan in June or 69.5% of the subsistence minimum for the working-age population.

For comparison: in May of the current year, unemployed residents of the republic received an average of 6,428 rubles.

“In June, the share of unemployment benefits recipients in the region was 22.8%, the maximum - 41.1%,” the Ministry of Labor told the Bashinform News Agency.

According to the latest data of the Ministry, the number of unemployed in Bashkortostan in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization is 89 thousand people. Of these, more than 21 thousand are officially registered unemployed.

The number of the economically active population of the republic, according to sample surveys of the labor force, exceeds on average 1.9 million people in February-April of this year.
