Salavatsky plant will open production in Ishimbay SEZ

The Salavatsky Catalyst Plant may become the first resident of the Ishimbay economic zone. The Development Corporation RB discussed a financing structure of the investment project.

In March, at the governmental Investment Hour session, the director of Skat3, Dmitry Medvedev, announced plans to open two new production facilities in the Ishimbay zone: cetane increasing additives for diesel fuel and a joint project with Smart Global to produce personal protective means equipped with location and health monitoring sensors.

Salavatsky Catalyst Plant is one of the largest Russian manufacturers of catalysts and sorbents, the only Russian manufacturer of all types of silica gels. Among the regular customers are major Russian and foreign companies, including Gazprom, Rosneft, Bashneft, Surgutneftegaz.

The Ishimbay SEZ residents have income and property, VAT, land, and transport tax benefits.
