R-240 highway will have illumination up to Sterlitamak in 2021

The R-240 highway will have illumination along the whole way to Sterlitamak in 2021. It was announced by Azamat Ilimbetov, head of the “Priurale” Road Directorate, at the Interagency Meeting on Road Safety under the leadership of the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. Now the lighting of the Orenburg highway is brought to Bulgakovo settlement (31 km from Ufa).

Azamat Ilimbetov stressed that according to the program of repair and reconstruction it is planned to install lighting near all settlements located along federal highways.

In the current season, federal road workers are performing works on four sections of the M5 Ural highway with a total length of 54 km near the city of Oktyabrsky, as well as in Tuymazinsky and Ufa districts.

This season 20 km are being reconstructed in Dyurtyulinsky and Kushnarenkovsky districts on the M7 Volga highway. It is planned to repair 59 km of the roadbed on the R-240.
