Radiy Khabirov estimated prospects of NPO “Stankostroenie” in Sterlitamak

The Scientific and Production Association “Stankostroenie” became the first item of today's working visit of the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov to Sterlitamak. Today, the plant employs 800 people.

Alexander Sterkhov, Executive Director of NPO “Stankostroenie”, said that the enterprise remained the only plant in Russia with a full production cycle. The machines are mainly supplied to the enterprises of Rostec State Corporation.

“We have a vast geography of supplies - from St. Petersburg, where ships are built, to Komsomolsk-on-Amur, where Sukhoi aircraft are manufactured. Actively purchases our UMPO machines. Today, we have contracts for 100 machines with a total amount of almost 4 billion rubles,” said Alexander Sterkhov.

Radiy Khabirov examined the production sites of the enterprise, asked about working conditions and wages. According to the executive director, the average salary is 32 thousand rubles. Today, the company continues to work on the modernization of equipment for the production of high-tech machines. 238 million rubles allocated by the Industry Development Fund have already been spent; now another 500 million rubles allocated by the fund are used. The head of Bashkortostan highly appreciated the prospects of the enterprise and drew attention to the increase in labor productivity.

The head of the republic also focused attention on young professionals’ employment at the company.

In 2018, the volume of own-produced goods shipped by the NPO “Stankostroenie” amounted to 921 million rubles. The industrial production index is 44%.
