Bashkiria and two more regions will create Ural Industrial Cluster

The authorities of Bashkortostan, the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions agreed on the creation of the Ural Industrial Cluster. Combining forces will create new types of competitive import-substituting products.

According to TASS, they signed a corresponding agreement at the international industrial exhibition INNOPROM, which takes place in Yekaterinburg from July 8 to July 11. It is noted that the alliance of the regions will allow "a comprehensive approach to the solution of issues in the production of composite materials and products using high-purity quartz concentrates." Within the framework of the industrial cluster being created, it is planned to “manufacture new types of competitive import-substituting products and ensure its access to foreign markets”.
