The organization of 53rd International Children's Games in Ufa cost more than 4 billion rubles. This was stated by representatives of the administration of the capital of Bashkortostan and the head of the Republican Ministry of Sports Ruslan Khabibov.

“150 million rubles were allocated by the general sponsor of the games - the Gazprom company. We also received additional funding from the Russian Ministry of Sport in the amount of 15 million. This is only direct financing, ”said Ruslan Khabibov, Minister of Youth Policy and Sports of Bashkortostan.

The head of the department also said that the republic had invested more than 3.5 billion rubles in the construction and purchase of sports equipment of the Kamyshlinskaya Sports Training Center.

According to the head of the Ufa administration, Ulfat Mustafin, the city allocated 83 million rubles for the improvement of venues and Kashkadan park; the overhead pedestrian crossing near the Sports Training Center cost 58 million rubles.

"I will refrain from telling how much the city has spent in total", said the mayor of the capital of the republic.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the opening ceremony of the 53rd International Children's Games will be held at the site of "Ufa-Arena" on July 10. The live broadcast is scheduled at 5 pm on the federal television channel "Match! Strana" and local channels BST and "All Ufa".
