"Road to Milk" rally will be held in Bashkiria

The All-Russian “Road to Milk” movement will hold the 7th annual motor rally from August 18 to August 24. Participants will cover 1,700 km of roads, more than 15 leading enterprises of the milk production and processing industry, rapidly developing regions, in aggregate, producing over 1.8 million tons of marketable milk. On August 18, the Milk Festival will be held in the Kirov region and already on August 19, an annual event will start in the region - the motor race. On August 20 and 21, the rally will pass through the dairy enterprises of Udmurtia, August 22 and 23 it will visit Bashkortostan, where it will close with the Dairy Country festival on August 24, told the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria.

In Bashkortostan, the participants of the “Road to Milk” motor rally will visit the Belebeevsky and Sterlitamaksky dairy plants, enterprises of the Neral Group of Companies being built in the Ermekeevsky district by the EkoNiva Russian-German group of companies.

In the republic for the five months of this year, 642.1 thousand tons of milk was obtained (100.1% of the 2018 level), milk yield per cow reached 2,360 kg (110%). Thus, milk production in 2019 is planned at the level of 1.63 million tons, including 735 thousand tons of marketable one.

“It is planned to introduce new dairy complexes by Tavros Group of Companies, Bashkragroinvest LLC, SAVA Agro Usen LLC, Urozhai LLC, Pobeda LLC, Severnaya Niva Bashkirii LLC (EkoNiva), A7Agro LLC, Bazy LLC. In order to develop the processing of dairy products, the republic actively cooperates with companies such as Savencia. Together with this company it is planned to construct a soft cheese plant with a volume of 12 thousand tons per year and worth about 3 billion rubles in the city of Belebey”, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture RB Yuri Lysov informed.
