Radiy Khabirov ordered to allocate 95 million rubles for Ufa railway station renovation

The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov ordered to allocate 94.8 million rubles from the republican budget to the State Committee for Transport for the reconstruction of the Ufa railway station. The corresponding order of the head of the republic was published on the official website of legal information of Bashkiria.

Funds for the reconstruction of the Ufa railway station will be granted "by reducing the total budget allocations envisaged for the republican targeted investment program for 2019 and the planned period 2020 and 2021," the document says.

In turn, the State Committee for Transport and Road Management of Bashkortostan is charged with “ensuring the targeted and effective use of the allocated funds”.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, by the end of this year, the foundations and structures of the old station building will be strengthened, elevators, ventilation and power supply systems will be installed.

Besides, the builders will replace the facades with composite panels, lay paving stones, asphalt and tactile tiles.

Reconstruction of the Ufa station began in 2004. The railway station of the capital of Bashkiria will be completely renovated in 2021.
