The average salary in Bashkortostan exceeded 35,840 rubles in April of this year. It is by 7.6 percent more than a year ago. At the same time, real wages, compared with April 2018, increased by 2.3 percent, the Bashkortostan Statistics Agency reported.
In general, in January-April of this year, the average salary in the region amounted to 34,063 rubles.
Traditionally, the largest salaries in Bashkortostan are in the production of coke and petroleum products - on average 65,786 rubles in January-April 2019.
The average salary of workers in the mining industry has increased during this time to 55,793 rubles.
The employees of the chemical industry closed the top three of the conventional “salary” rating, as well as those who are engaged in professional, scientific and technical activities - 49,562 and 49,067 rubles, respectively.
And, on the contrary, the lowest salary in the republic is observed in the production of leather and leather goods - an average of 13,761 rubles for January-April.
Furniture production workers received a little more - 15,257 rubles.
The third place among the lowest salary in the region went to the “clothing production”. The average salary of workers in this sector was 18,480 rubles, summarized the statisticians.
As reported by the Republican Ministry of Labor with reference to the data of sample surveys, the number of the economically active population of Bashkiria is now nearly 1.9 million people. The number of unemployed in the region exceeds 86 thousand people.
