Investors from Belgium and France plan to start wind generators production in Kumertau

Today, as part of the “Entrepreneurial Hour” session, a delegation of representatives of Belgium and France visited the city of Kumertau. The business visit is connected with the desire of potential investors to implement a project for the production of wind generators in the city. In Europe, generators of this type are in demand both in industrial production and in residential buildings. The uniqueness of the wind turbines planned for production lies in their mobility, lightness and high productivity.

The decisive factors in choosing a region and a city were aviation production and the territory of tax benefits and preferences. The guests were shown positive examples of the implementation of the projects of already existing residents of Kumertau PDA. It was decided that at the end of June investors would again visit the city for a final decision.

It relates to the production of wind turbines in the territory of Bashkortostan. Issues of their use in the region for power generation have not been discussed. Bashkortostan has experience in generating electricity using wind. In 2001, a station of 2.2 MW of installed capacity was commissioned in the Tuymazy region near the village of Tyupkildy. The station has not reached a payback, requires significant operating costs, and the share of electricity generated by it is insignificant.
