34.4 billion rubles will be allocated to stimulate birth rate in Bashkiria

As part of the “Demography” national project, Bashkortostan will receive 34.4 billion rubles to improve the quality of life of older citizens, stimulate birth rates, and increase the number of people leading a healthy lifestyle. This funds will be directed to the monthly payment in connection with the birth (adoption) of the first child to families whose average per capita income does not exceed 1.5 fold amount of the subsistence minimum of the working-age population in the second quarter of the previous year (income per family member in 2019 should not exceed 14 328 rubles). In 2019, the amount of payment is 9182 rubles.
Of these funds, a monthly cash payment will be made to low-income families with many children for each third or subsequent child born after December 31, 2017, up to three years of age. The size of the monthly cash payment is 8993 rubles.
Large families will be able to qualify for a preferential mortgage at 6%. Also, more than 2 thousand IVF procedures will be conducted annually at the expense of the obligatory medical insurance.
In the framework of the “Demography” national project, 19 kindergartens will be built and reconstructed in 2019 in Ufa, in Sterlitamak, Mechetlinsky, Beloretsk, Zianchurinsky, Salavatsky, Krasnokamsky, Burayevsky, Chekmagushevsky, Ufimsky districts of Bashkiria, and also in Belebey and Kumertau.
Now 5,400 children from one and a half to three years old are in the waiting list for a kindergarten.
