Russia has adopted five-year program for rural development for 2.3 trillion rubles

Russia has adopted a new program for rural development - "Integrated development of rural areas" for 2020-2025, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria reported. Its funding is provided in the amount of 2.3 trillion rubles, of which 1 trillion will be allocated by the federal budget, the second half should be provided by the regions.

Targets of the program: the preservation of the rural population at a level of at least 25.3% of the total number of Russians; at least 50% of rural residential areas should be improved; the average monthly resources of a rural household should be at least 80% of the resources of an urban household.

Accordingly, the program will be conducted in four directions: "Analytical, regulatory, methodological support for the integrated development of rural areas", "Creating conditions for providing affordable and comfortable housing for the rural population", "Developing the labor market (human resources) in rural areas" and "Infrastructure creation and development in rural areas”.
