Radiy Khabirov: more than 40 facilities will be built as part of national projects in Bashkortostan in 2019

In 2019, Bashkortostan will have more than 40 social facilities as part of the implementation of national projects. Radiy Khabirov, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, said this in an interview with Russia-24 TV channel at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The head of the republic believes that not only figures and meeting deadlines of national projects are essential.

“National projects make people's lives better. We will live longer, be healthier, reduce the number of deaths, and increase the birth rate. We will ensure that human life will pass in a comfortable urban environment and that our economy will develop intensively. This year, we are opening 22 schools, 19 kindergartens, two children's polyclinics, plus rural first-aid stations and fitness centers as part of the national projects,” said Radiy Khabirov.

According to the head of Bashkortostan, the national project “Healthcare” is very interesting for the republic.

“Many efforts are focused on the revival of primary care, rural medicine, which is very important for the republic. There are 2000 rural first-aid stations in Bashkortostan, which are now coming to life due to financial investments and support”, said the head of the region.

Radiy Khabirov spoke about the financial and social incentive measures that are being taken in the republic to address personnel shortages in the health care industry.

175.1 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of national projects for six years of accelerated development in Bashkortostan.
