Large dairy complex for 2,800 cows will be launched in Bashkiria in autumn

In November 2019, a large livestock breeding complex “Semeno-Makarovo” for 2,800 cows will be put into operation in the Ermekeevo district. It is planned to produce more than 22 thousand tons of raw milk of the highest grade a year. There will also be platforms for growing young dairy breeds for 3200 heads. The total investment will amount to almost 3 billion rubles. The complex will create more than 100 new jobs. The founder of the “Severnaya Niva Bashkiria” company is the Russian-German EkoNiva group of companies with headquarters in Voronezh. German entrepreneur Stefan Durr founded it.

The director of the future animal husbandry complex, Nikolay Lukerin, told the Bashinform News Agency that more than 800 heads of highly productive cows had already been delivered.

The director of the complex noted that the produced milk will be supplied to the largest local processor - Belebeevsky dairy plant. The controlling stake in the company is now owned by the French cheesemaker Savencia Fromage & Dairy.

On February 14, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov signed an investment agreement with EkoNiva representative Pyotr Dubyansky about the construction of a complex in the Ermekeevo district. In general, the project of “Severnaya Niva Bashkiria” provides for the construction of four dairy cattle complexes in the territories of Ermekeyevo, Belebey and Bizhbulyak districts for 15 thousand heads of cattle. The production capacity of all dairy farms will be 124.7 thousand tons of raw milk of the highest grade. The total investment will make 17.4 billion rubles.

The Russian-German EkoNiva group of companies was founded in 1994. Today, it consists of LLC EkoNivaTekhnika-Holding, which supplies and services agricultural equipment, as well as LLC EkoNiva-APK Holding, which is engaged in agricultural production.

The company's enterprises are located in Voronezh, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Kaluga, Ryazan, Orenburg, and Tyumen regions and use 480 thousand hectares of land. Every day, EkoNiva enterprises produce more than 1,500 tons of milk. This is the highest position in terms of raw milk production in Russia and the Top 10 in the world. In addition, the company supplies agricultural equipment from leading world manufacturers to Russia. In 2018, a subsidiary of the company, “Severnaya Niva Bashkiria”, was registered in Bashkortostan.
