Radiy Khabirov thanked Ufa Airport for organizing flights to Vienna

On June 3, the first flight Ufa - Vienna was performed. This morning 84 people departed to the capital of Austria on UT flight No. 731.

“We need a direct flight to Europe. A decision that we will have a direct flight to Vienna was made taking into account our active connections that are being established now with the Austrian Republic. Please pay attention to organizing tourist flows to and from there. This is an event actually. I am grateful to the Ufa International Airport: it defrayed the expenses, without shifting them on to the budget. I hope that this flight will become independent,” Radiy Khabirov the Acting Head of Bashkortostan stated.

The flight program, which was developed jointly with the Utair airline, is developed until June 2020. Flights will be operated twice a week - on Mondays and Fridays, on the Boeing 737-500, with a capacity of 126 passenger seats.

As Raif Abdrakhimov the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan stressed at the opening ceremony of the flight, “direct flights between Bashkortostan and the capital of Austria will strengthen international cooperation.”

“The flights to Vienna are regular by the agreement with the UTair airline. They will also be performed in the winter period. We hope that the Ufa-Vienna flight will become widespread, will gain popularity among both tourists and business representatives, and will actively promote business and cultural ties,” said Alexander Andreev, the Ufa Airport CEO.

As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the cost of the flight from Ufa to Vienna at the "Minimum" fare starts from 5698 rubles, at the "Optimum" fare - from 6803 rubles, at the "Premium" fare - from 7903 rubles.
