On June 3, regular air service opens between Ufa and Vienna. Timur Mukhametyanov, the Chairman of the State Committee for Bashkortostan Bashkortostan, at a press conference at the Bashinform News Agency said that the flights would be operated by Utair on Mondays and Fridays. Departures from Ufa to the capital of Austria are scheduled for 9.45, and from Vienna - at 12.05 local time. Aircraft Boeing 737 are designed for 126 passengers. The cost of the flights will be financed from a part of the profits of Ufa International Airport. The program itself for the implementation of direct flights is made until 2021. The cost of the flight from Ufa to Vienna at the "Minimum" fare will start from 5698 rubles, at the "Optimum" fare - from 6803 rubles, at the "Premium" fare - from 7903 rubles. The president of Utair - Passenger Airlines, Pavel Permyakov, noted that the direction to Vienna was not chosen by chance. It is the center of Europe, from there you can easily reach the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.

“We are just sure that this direction will be popular with the residents of Bashkortostan. In general, in the summer season, the airline will connect Ufa with Anapa, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Surgut, Tyumen, and Khanty-Mansiysk, ”said Pavel Permyakov.

The head of the Republican Center for Tourism Development, Artur Idelbayev, believes that regular flights will become a powerful driver for attracting European tourists to Bashkortostan.
