Investments in dairy industry development will exceed 60 billion rubles in Bashkiria

Investments in an integrated program for the dairy industry development in Bashkortostan developed jointly with Soyuzmoloko will exceed 60 billion rubles. This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Yury Lysov during the 11th Dairy Olympics, the press service of the agricultural department of the republic reports, citing the industry news agency The DairyNews.

“This will allow to double the production of marketable milk by 2030 and bring its volume up to 1.5 million tons, making of milk marketability in agricultural organizations at the level of 95%. We can also increase the average productivity of cows up to 7400 kg per head, and in agricultural organizations up to 9000 kg. Livestock identification will be carried out, a service infrastructure will be formed, and farms will be modernized, ”said Yury Lysov.

“In Bashkortostan, there are more than 7 million hectares of farmland. Milk production is 1.6 million tons, cattle population - 978 thousand heads, this is the second place in Russia. The production of koumiss is 3.2 thousand tons - the first place in the country. In Bashkortostan, it is planned to implement 65 investment projects in the agro-industrial complex in the amount of 299 billion rubles, which will create 12,000 jobs. 75% of producers are small farms. Therefore, the share of marketable milk is only 41% of gross production”, said the Deputy Minister of Agriculture RB.

Support for agriculture will continue at the state level in Russia. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at an annual big press conference.

“Agriculture is a long-time national project. The amount of support is measured in hundreds of billions of rubles. It will be continued both for large farms and small farms, in all segments of agriculture”, he said.
