Radiy Khabirov: In couple of years, Bashkiria will become Klondike for small business

Small and medium business today is one of the main drivers of the Bashkortostan economy and it is them that make the future of the region, according to the head of the republic Radiy Khabirov.

“Large enterprises will develop without us. The main thing is that we do not interfere with them, and they will have investment programs. The small and medium business is that part of the economy of the republic, on which we can positively influence. I see the future of the republic in them. Moreover, my task is to make every effort so that they can work comfortably,” said Radiy Khabirov during an open dialogue with businessmen of the republic, which was held in Ufa in the newly opened “My Business” center.

According to him, in a year or two, Bashkiria will become a Klondike for a small business, but the authorities should create a comfortable environment for this to happen.

Innovative platforms for business projects have already been launched in Ufa, as well as a wide range of tools - from assistance in registering and obtaining necessary permits to promoting the export of products.

"The entire information about supporting entrepreneurship will be integrated with the “My Business” center. The central office will begin work at the "Toratau" Congress Hall on August 1. Personal consultants together with entrepreneurs will determine a set of effective measures for the implementation of each specific project. In addition, there will be a separate program to support startups - business projects created from scratch, ”said the Interim Chairman of the State Committee for Entrepreneurship and Tourism Rimma Boytsova.

The total amount allocated to the formation of business infrastructure in the capital of Bashkortostan will be about 2.5 billion rubles.
