UFA, 22 May 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
The prospects for expanding the infrastructure for gas-powered vehicles were discussed in Ufa: the round table was held as part of the 27th International Exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies" and the Russian Petrochemical Forum. The events brought together more than 350 companies from 37 regions of Russia and ten foreign countries on one site. Gazprom Transgaz Ufa is among the regular participants of the exposition and business program.
This year the forum was dedicated to the digital transformation of enterprises in the petrochemical industry. This is a new development trend of the Russian and world economy. It was discussed at a plenary meeting, in which the Acting Head of the Republic Radiy Khabirov also took part.
The innovative transformation of production processes is actively carried out at Gazprom Transgaz Ufa. The General Director of the company, Shamil Sharipov, stressed that this work was designed for many years to come.
As part of the business program of the forum, a round table was held at which current trends in the development of the gas engine fuel market were reviewed. The total consumption of compressed natural gas in the region amounted to 32.9 million cubic meters in 2018. At present, there are fourteen gas filling stations of the Gazprom Group and two modular stations at the industrial sites of the branches of Gazprom Transgaz Ufa in the republic. Three more stations are planned to be built - in Neftekamsk, Ufa and Karmaskaly districts.
Alexey Karpukhin, Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy of Bashkortostan, noted that this year the country’s budget provided for 2.5 billion rubles of subsidies for the re-equipment of vehicles and the construction of gas-engine infrastructure facilities. This indicates that this direction is a priority for the state.
Traditionally, Gazprom Group’s enterprises in Bashkortostan presented their expositions at the forum: Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat LLC, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Ufa LLC - the managing company of Gazprom Gazoraspredelenie Ufa.
