Average salary in Bashkiria reached 35 thousand rubles

The average salary in Bashkortostan amounted to 34,996 rubles in March of this year, the republican Ministry of Labor reported, citing data from Rosstat.

The subsistence minimum for the working-age population was equal to 9 355 rubles.

According to sample surveys of labor force in the first quarter of 2019, the economically active population in Bashkiria exceeded 1.894 million people.

As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the number of unemployed in accordance with the standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO) amounted to 86,3 thousand people in the region.

The unemployment rate according to the ILO methodology was 4.6 percent.
