Pre-pensioners of Vityaz plant will be retrained on-the-job in Ishimbay

More than 140 people of pre-retirement age working at the Vityaz plant in Ishimbay will undergo on-the-job retraining. It became possible due to the regional component of the national project "Demography" of the federal project "Senior Generation".

As reported by the press service of the government of Bashkortostan, pre-pensioners will be able to upgrade their skills and explore alternative professions right at the enterprise. The Ufa training center and the Ishimbay branch of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University will take part in the project implementation.

Classes will be held in the "Freight Forwarder for Goods Transportation", "Accounting", "Mentoring", "Modern Methods of Engineering Production Development ", "Modernization and Digitalization in Engineering Production."

Recall that the national project “Demography” is being implemented by the Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in the period from 2019 to 2024. Its main objectives are to increase the expected duration of healthy life up to 67 years; a decrease in mortality of the population over working age, an increase in the total birth rate; increase in the share of people leading a healthy lifestyle.

The total amount of funding for the "Demography" national project will be more than 3.5 trillion rubles. It was stated by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the Presidium of the presidential council on strategic development and national projects.
