Markus Scheiblhofer will represent Bashkiria's interests in Austria

A representative of Bashkortostan began to work on a pro-bono basis in Austria, the press service of the State Committee RB for Foreign Economic Relations reports.

In the near future, the first representative office of Bashkortostan will open in Austria, and from April 29 Markus Scheiblhofer is appointed a representative of the Republican State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations in Austria.

Markus Scheiblhofer’s tasks include representing the interests of the committee in the Republic of Austria, informational support and promotion of Bashkortostan’s producers in the Austrian market, assistance in organizing and conducting business missions and congress and exhibition events of Bashkortostan in Austria.

Markus Scheiblhofer was born in 1974. He has extensive experience in business processes. He headed international companies in Russia, Poland, Turkey, branches of organizations in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the UK.

Currently, he heads the SMK Natural Foods GmbH. He is the founder of a non-profit organization to improve the economic and cultural relations of Austria with Russia, a member of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, the Austrian Economic Forum in Russia, and the Association of European Businesses in Russia. He is fluent in German, English, and Russian.
