Hydrocarbon gases processing unit will be built in Bashkiria

On April 24, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov discussed with the manager of Bitumen LLC (Salavat) Dmitry Dontsov prospects for the production development, promising investment projects implementation. In particular, Dmitry Dontsov presented an investment project for the construction of a unit for processing hydrocarbon gases into aromatic hydrocarbons using the BICYCLAR technology. The volume of investments will be more than 3 billion rubles.

Since 2018, the company has begun production of modified bitumen using the Superpave PG system (“SPAS”). This is an innovative technology for designing asphalt compounds with specified performance characteristics, taking into account traffic loads and climatic conditions. It allows significantly increasing the service life of pavements, reducing repair and maintenance costs. Last year, the company produced 20 thousand tons of modified bitumen.

Bashkortostan was one of the first in the Russian Federation to begin the introduction of this technology. Last year, with its use, 67 km of roads were repaired.

LLC "Bitumen", founded in 1991, is one of the leading manufacturers of oil road bitumen in the country. Consumers of its products are the largest road-building companies of Bashkortostan and nearby regions.
