Radiy Khabirov: We can make our cities - garden cities

Our cities should be clean, they should be free from rubbish and waste, there should be no dust in them, and this is one of the tasks that municipalities and municipal services face. Radiy Khabirov, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan, told this at the Republican Forum “Upravdom” (House Manager).

According to him, the first results of the law, which imposed fines for parking on lawns and playgrounds, are already visible.

Radiy Khabirov noted that programs for repairing entrances, landscaping courtyards, and street lighting were adopted and started operating in the republic.

Radiy Khabirov paid particular attention to quite a complicated situation in engineering networks and communications. However, in his opinion, it is possible to make the republican cities - garden cities.

“Each of them is unique, and each is a kind of masterpiece. We just need to foster our effort to make them even better and more comfortable. The republic will assist in this with money means”, said Radiy Khabirov.

In February-March of this year, more than 100 “Upravdom” municipal forums were held in all the municipalities of Bashkortostan. The heads of administrations of cities and districts talked about plans for the development of territories, programs for the courtyards improvement and the repair of entrances, and a new system for dealing with municipal solid waste at the meetings with residents. Delegates to the republican forum of councils of apartment houses of Bashkiria were elected at the municipal forums.
