Turkish Industrialists Association is intended to cooperate with Bashkiria enterprises

The KONSIAD Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Turkey is intended to establish trade and investment relations with the Republic of Bashkortostan. This was announced by KONSIAD President Kemal Celik yesterday at the House of the Republic during a meeting with the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, the press service of the head of the region reports.

Radiy Khabirov noted that Bashkortostan maintained trade relations with more than 100 countries of the world. Last year, Turkey entered the top ten main partners of the republic. There are 45 enterprises established in the region with the participation of Turkish capital.

“We are pleased that representatives of Turkish business regularly come to Ufa and actively communicate with our business circles and enterprises. Bashkortostan and Turkey have strong trade, economic and cultural ties. We have a solid legal basis for such cooperation - agreements, protocol of intentions, ”said Radiy Khabirov. “Currently, we are working on opening a representative office of our republic in Istanbul. Therefore, I think that we will have additional opportunities for further work. Bashkortostan is open to new projects. We are ready for active cooperation”.

“We brought you greetings from 1,100 members of our association,” said Kemal Celik. “After we hold the preliminary talks with you, we will ensure that all representatives of KONSIAD will visit Bashkortostan. In turn, we will be happy to welcome you in Turkey. ”

During the meeting, the parties discussed specific prospects for cooperation in such areas as petrochemicals, light industry, engineering, construction, agriculture. Radiy Khabirov drew the attention of the Turkish partners to the fact that there were five priority development areas (PDAs in Bashkortostan), where an optimal investment climate for business and investment projects was created.

"Any business initiatives that will come from your side will find the most multilateral support," said the head of the region.

The KONSIAD Association was founded in 2008 and unites 1,100 large and medium-sized enterprises operating in various industries, from furniture manufacturing to machine tool manufacturing, from construction to agriculture. The purpose of the association is to develop economic relations, to expand domestic and international cooperation.
