Radiy Khabirov told about new support mechanisms for entrepreneurs

Last year, the total number of small and medium-sized businesses in Bashkortostan grew by almost a thousand and exceeded 140 thousand units. The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov announced this was on April 9 at a meeting of the State Assembly – Kurultay RB while delivering a report on the work of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2018.

“Today more than 400 thousand people are employed in this area. Four hundred million rubles were allocated to support 27 thousand entrepreneurs. It is almost two times more than in 2017, ”said Radiy Khabirov.

Thus, in the region, the interest rate on microloans has been brought to the level of the Central Bank's key rate. The Bashkir Microloan Company entered the Top-5 Russian companies in terms of the loan portfolio of 400 million rubles. The support was provided in the amount of 1.4 billion rubles as part of the activities of the Regional Leasing Company.

“We plan to introduce a new mechanism for supporting small businesses. We will provide subsidies for reimbursement of interest payments on credit agreements concluded for investment purposes in Russian credit institutions totaling to three-quarters of the Bank of Russia key rate”, Khabirov reported. “The work is underway to develop small production sites for entrepreneurs – techno-ports. Subsidies to management companies for the reimbursement of lost income from the provision of rent areas on concessional terms are provided here. ”

According to the head of the republic, this year the “Entrepreneur House” and “My Business” centers will also be established. More than 20 municipalities will open co-working venues for young entrepreneurs. The program for the development of business incubators will continue. The launch of a new business acceleration project will allow start-up entrepreneurs to form and represent their start-ups to venture investors, to receive state support.

The report on the work of the Government of the Republic is delivered annually in accordance with the 87th article of the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
