Radiy Khabirov set task to increase agricultural exports to $ 91 million

A decline in production indicators is observed in the agriculture of Bashkiria for the second year. The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov announced this was on April 9 at a meeting of the State Assembly – Kurultay RB while delivering a report on the work of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2018.

“We have always been one of the leading agrarian regions of the country. The agricultural complex is one of our key priorities. It is clear that we suffered difficult weather conditions. But other regions were also affected by the drought. I ask the Ministry of Agriculture, the Government in conjunction with the Committee on the Agriculture of the State Assembly to examine the reasons for the decline in production in the first half of the year and present recommendations for rectifying the situation in the industry”, Khabirov said.

“The most important task remains the creation of a full cycle of production and processing of products. We will form a network of multifunctional agro-industrial parks as centers for the support and development of agricultural enterprises. In accordance with the comprehensive program adopted last year, the share of own-produced dairy products in the republic should increase to 80%, ”said the head of the republic.

Radiy Khabirov set the task also to increase the export of agricultural products to $91 million, to ensure the republic’s access to the global market with milk-intensive market products – dry skimmed and whole milk, butter, and cheeses.

“In general, it is necessary to improve the efficiency of agricultural management. The main thing is to delve deeply into all the problems of our agricultural producer. Until we make an objective analysis, we do not make an exact diagnosis, and we will not correct the situation in the industry, ”summed up the head of the republic.

The report on the work of the Government of the Republic is delivered annually in accordance with the 87th article of the Constitution of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
