The Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov stated that delivering a report on the work of the Government in 2018 at the plenary session of the State Assembly RB.
Bashkortostan takes the first place in the Volga Federal District and 8th in Russia in tax and non-tax revenues to budgets of all levels. Last year, Bashkortostan transferred 600 billion rubles to the federal budget. According to the head of the republic, it is necessary to strengthen the work on attracting federal subsidies. In 2018, the economy of Bashkortostan managed to attract 65 billion rubles from the federal budget. “We will pay much attention to the priority development areas - PDAs. There are five of them in our republic this year. The sixth territory could have been created in Uchaly, but due to the short-sightedness of the local administration, this opportunity was missed. One of the positive examples of the PDAs development is the city of Kumertau, where ten residents are already operating, more than 2 billion rubles have been invested in the city's economy, ”said Radiy Khabirov.
This year, work has begun in the republic on the creation of a special economic zone in the Ishimbay district. This proposal was supported by the Federation Council; by September 1, the necessary package of documents should be submitted to the Russian Government.
