Exporters will be subsidized transportation costs of 1 million rubles in Bashkiria

UFA, 5 April 2019. /Bashinform News Agency/ translated by Tatiana Aksyutina/.
A program for subsidizing transporting costs for exporters is being introduced in Bashkiria.
It was announced at a meeting in Ufa devoted to the issues of supporting the export activities of entrepreneurs. The event was attended by representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan on foreign economic relations, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB, republican export support institutions, as well as more than 70 small and medium-sized businesses.
The Chairman of the State Committee for Foreign Economic Relations Ruslan Mirsayapov noted two important innovations in 2019 in the field of export activities. First, Bashkortostan was among the “pilot” regions for the implementation of Regional Export Standard 2.0. Within its framework, entrepreneurs can take part in acceleration programs (educational, financial and non-financial support tools), which will allow companies to expand the volume and geography of exports.
“Participation in acceleration programs is free. We have already received applications from thirty companies. Moreover, we are introducing a new regional tool for supporting exporters: subsidizing small and medium businesses for part of the costs associated with transporting products for export and pilot batches of goods abroad, ”said Ruslan Mirsayapov.
We are talking about the export of non-energy goods that are not included in the list of high-tech goods of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia.
It is assumed that a subsidy from the Bashkirian budget for one company will amount to 1 million rubles per year (but not more than 50% of the costs incurred) for the transportation of products for export, and 500 thousand rubles (but not more than 50% of the costs incurred) for the supply of pilot lots of products, the press service of the State Committee of Bashkortostan for Foreign Economic Relations informs.
