In Ufa, experts discussed projects for Bashkir capital landscaping

Today, the Acting Head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov held a meeting dedicated to strategic development projects of Ufa. The head of the Center for the Study of the Economics of Culture, Urban Development and Creative Industries of the Faculty of Economics of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University Sergey Kapkov, representatives of the mayor of Ufa, experts in the field of planning and development of urban spaces took part in it.

The meeting discussed projects for the improvement of public areas, creating a comfortable urban environment, parks and pedestrian areas, prepared by the expert community with regard to advanced Russian and foreign experience, the press service of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.

As previously informed, Sergey Kapkov is considered one of the best specialists in the organization of urban space in the country. He was invited to Bashkiria by the Acting Head of the region, Radiy Khabirov, with whom they had worked on improvement projects in the city of Krasnogorsk. Sergey Kapkov headed the Department of Culture of Moscow and was engaged in the improvement of the city when for five years more than a hundred parks were landscaped in the capital. He is an author of famous projects such as Gorky Park and the VDNkH. In Bashkiria, Sergey Kapkov will develop a unified program of urban improvement standards for the region.
