Bashkiria and Belarus are expanding cooperation in agriculture

Yesterday, a production and technical cooperation agreement was signed in Ufa between Minoitovsky Repair Plant of the Republic of Belarus and “Bashselkhoztekhnika”. The document supposes the arranging by the Bashkir enterprise of assembling, selling and subsequent servicing of machinery and other equipment with the use of spare parts manufactured at the Minoitovsky Repair Plant.

“Bashselhoztekhnika” has successful experience of cooperation with the Belarusian side. The company organized the assembly of the Belarus-1231.3 and MTZ-82 tractors, under the license of the manufacturer. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Semashko examined the assembly of the tractors. The delegation of Belarus arrived in Bashkortostan to participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 100th anniversary of our republic.

Besides, Vladimir Semashko had an official meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture RB Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. The possibilities of cooperation in the agrarian sector were discussed there. These were the supply of agricultural machinery and equipment, the organization of joint assembly plants, investments in the agro-industrial complex of Bashkortostan, the exchange of technologies in the field of agriculture.

The Belarusian Ambassador visited the “Bashinkom” company, the republican largest producer of biological products for agriculture.

The trade turnover between the parties in 2018 reached $690 million, which is 1.6 times higher than the 2017 level. According to this indicator, Belarus ranks second among the countries - trading partners of Bashkortostan.
