It is planned plan to create a tourist cluster with a ski slope in the territory of the former brown-coal mine in Kumertau. The cost of the investment project is estimated at 27 million rubles. It was presented at Investment Hour session, which was held in Kumertau the day before, on March 21, and was broadcast online in social media.

Another project is related to the expansion of local sewing production. Entrepreneurs who are engaged in tailoring school uniforms in the future want to expand their business and claim to obtain a status of Kumertau PDA (priority development area) resident.

In the building of the former school of the Alekseevka village of the city of Kumertau, it is planned to open a boarding house for the elderly, designed for 70 people.
