By 2020, all regions of Russia should create online services for voting on the development of the urban environment. It was reported by TASS with reference to the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing of the Russian Federation, Andrei Chibis.

“In 2019, at least, a base should be created so that rating voting for initiatives already functions in all regions. The deadline is December 2020, ”said Andrei Chibis at the First International Forum“ Smart Cities ”.

As a successful experience in such developments, the deputy minister cited the example of the Ufa Center for Information Technologies.

The Ufa residents most often use online services of roads under construction and repair and an interactive map of “Ufa Construction Site”.

Earlier, the Bashinform News Agency reported that the Acting Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, at the weekly briefing session demanded to launch a mobile application with road repair maps by April 1, 2019, criticizing the head of regional State Transport Committee Timur Mukhametianov.

Online services will allow regions to increase performance on the national project "Housing and Urban Environment." According to the plans announced by the head of state, the involvement of the population in decision-making on the development of cities by 2025 should increase to 30%. In 2018, it was 5%.
