Bashkiria beekeepers will discuss issues for Apimondia Congress preparation

On Saturday, March 16, a congress of beekeepers from Bashkortostan will be held at the Ufa Palace of Youth. Preparations for the Apimondia 47th International Congress to be hosted by Ufa in 2021 will be discussed there.

“At the forum, beekeepers will talk about existing programs for the support and development of beekeeping in the region. Also at the event it will be possible to get acquainted with the experience of colleagues, owners of large apiaries from our and neighboring regions, see the facilities of beekeeping equipment at a specially organized exhibition, learn about the latest developments and recommendations of scientists, ”the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria Revner Baytullin told the Bashinform News Agency.

The congress participants can present 500-gram honey samples for the competition in the nominations of dark and light honey. They will be able to take part in the exhibition of tools and products that facilitate the work of a beekeeper. The winners will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria informs.

The main beekeeper of the country, President of the Russian National Union of Beekeepers Arnold Butov will take part in the forum.
