Turkish company may enter Ufa construction market

A delegation of the Turkish construction holding Sarikoc visited Ufa. The company representatives came to the capital of Bashkortostan to meet with deputies of the City Council and local officials.

“The guests were told about the investment attractiveness of Ufa and the republic as a whole. It was discussed some promising areas of construction, the holding’s possibilities under concession agreements and the strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Bashkortostan until 2030,” said the deputy Yury Vasilyev.

Director for Investor Relations of the Development Corporation of the Bashkortostan Republic, Igor Smolyagin, reminded that the region had a rich history of cooperation with Turkish companies.

“Now representatives of Sarikoc Holding will analyze the information received. They are interested in information about priority development areas. We hope that in the near future we will see a new construction player from Turkey, who in the future will grow into a reliable partner and an active investor, ”said Smolyagin.

The Turkish construction holding Sarikoc is currently building the Alarko metro station, residential buildings, shopping centers, and the marina, a hospital, a mosque and a school in Istanbul, a fertilizer plant in Turkmenistan. Among the completed projects are an international port, a tractor factory, a marina, an office building in Ankara, a jewelry center.
