Roskomsnabbank recovery will reduce negative effects to minimum

Roskomsnabbank, which had its license revoked on March 7, has liabilities to individuals for 18 billion rubles, and to sole traders and organizations for 4 billion rubles. It was announced at a briefing session in the Government of Bashkortostan by the head of the department - the National Bank for the Republic of Bashkortostan Ural Main Department of the Central Bank RF, Marat Kashapov. He recalled that the bank was a member of the deposit insurance system, and according to the law, funds in the amount of up to 1.4 million rubles would be returned primarily to individuals and sole traders.

Until March 14, the Deposit Insurance Agency will determine the agent banks through which funds will be reimbursed. As previously reported, payments should begin no later than March 21. "Most of the obligations to individuals just fall under the amount of insurance," said Marat Kashapov.

A source in the Government of the republic also added that, most likely, Roskomsnabbank would be recovered by one of the largest banks in Russia, negotiations with which would end in the coming days.
