BMC dramatically increased supply of valves for construction and parts for aviation industry

The Beloretsk Metallurgical Combine (JSC BMC, a member of the Mechel group) shipped 11% more metalware to consumers in February 2019 than in the same month last year.

The plant supplied 38 thousand tons of metal products - mainly for the enterprises of aviation, engineering, construction industry, and production of bearings.

According to representatives of Mechel, the largest increase - almost three and twice respectively - showed shipment of bars with a special surface finish for the manufacture of springs, fasteners for mechanical engineering and aviation, as well as cold-formed reinforcement for the production of various reinforced concrete structures and grids. The supply of reinforcing construction mesh increased by almost 60%. Sales of ordinary wire and ball bearing wire for the manufacture of bearing components increased by 40% and 36%. Sales of steel cables for the oil and gas and energy industries have increased.

According to Viktor Kamelin, General Director of BMC, the growth of indicators can be explained by the active work of the sales and production services of the plant on the eve of the new construction season.
