1.7 billion rubles will be allocated to implement program for courtyards improvement in Bashkortostan

7 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of the “Bashkir Yards” program in 2019. Radiy Khabirov, the Acting Head of Bashkiria, wrote on his Facebook page about the beginning of work on the program.

The program is based on the principle of co-financing: 99% of the funds will be distributed from the republican budget and 1% will be the funds of residents.

“These days we are launching the implementation of the “ Bashkir Yards ” program. As in the case of building entrances, it will begin with meetings with residents who will approve plans. It will end, too, only after the residents will sign acceptance certificates. I think my colleagues have already understood that without public hearings we have no right to spend budget money for housing and utility needs, ”the head of the republic said.

In the summer of 2019, 480 courtyards will be landscaped, and in the next five years, 2903 courtyards will be renovated.

“We will focus on playgrounds, rubber flooring, bins, benches, stands, video surveillance, lighting, landscaping, parking spaces, approaches to the playgrounds,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Works on the courtyards improvement throughout the republic are scheduled to begin on May 15 and be completed on August 31, 2019.
