Timur Khakimov: Commerce and Industry Chamber will form investment projects and expand export opportunities

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkortostan will help business structures to take part in international tenders to expand their sales markets and export opportunities. One of the main tasks of the Chamber is to attract investment in the region at any cost. Timur Khakimov, President of the Commerce and Industry Chamber of Bashkortostan said that the Chamber of Commerce would form investment projects and submit them for discussion at “Investment Hour” sessions.

The CCI is also ready to become a link between business and regional authorities in the implementation of national projects. Timur Khakimov thanked Radiy Khabirov for the new format “Business Breakfast with Head of Region”, which helps entrepreneurs to conduct an open, informal dialogue with the head of Bashkortostan at the CCI site. The next such meeting is scheduled for March 14, where women entrepreneurs will be invited.

Among the nearest events, organized by the CCI, is a conference of the Federal Mono-Cities Development Fund. The conference will take place at the end of March in Ufa.

On March 11, a large delegation of the Federal Agency for Strategic Initiatives will arrive in the capital of Bashkiria to discuss projects of social entrepreneurship.

The leadership of the chamber puts high hopes on the “House of Entrepreneur”, which will be located at the "Salavat Yulaev" business center. Its central concept is to unite all state business support structures and public organizations in one place there. Meetings of the business community with the heads of relevant ministries and departments will be also held there.

The CCI will also begin implementation of the “Countrymen” project, which is designed to unite people from Bashkortostan and university graduates of the republic into the international community.
