Bashkiria is among small number of regions with entrepreneurship growth

Bashkiria is among the 28 regions of the country (out of 85), where there was an increase in the number of small and medium-sized enterprises. The growth was provided by 15 (out of 63) municipalities, including Ufa and the surrounding areas - Iglino, Blagoveshchensk, Chishmy, Kushnarenkovo, as well as Sterlitamak district and the city of Salavat. It was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee RB for Tourism and Entrepreneurship Vadim Utyashev at the board of the ministry.
At the end of 2018, 140,600 small businesses were registered in the region (+ 1 thousand to the number of 2017). The increase is small, but it is observed, the speaker commented on. About half a million people were employed in small businesses. SMEs paid 8.1 billion rubles of taxes to the budget of (7.72 billion in 2017). “Every year, small enterprises increase revenues to the budget and even more than the indicators of their economic activity increase,” said Vadim Utyashev.
The state provided direct financial support for 209.66 million rubles to 576 small enterprises. 354 million rubles were allocated for the activities of the State Committee, of which only 75 million were granted from federal funds, the municipalities supported their programs by investing 66 million rubles. The Government decided to support the business development with subsidies for another 100 million annually.
As for the returnable funds, the most significant volume of loans was issued by Regional Leasing Company - 1.39 billion rubles. 26 recipients, 13 of them - Bashkir enterprises. 240 small enterprises of the republic borrowed 404.1 million rubles from the Bashkir Microcredit Company. Total, 314 small enterprises took advantage of business support tools for 2.08 billion rubles (the Guarantee, Leasing Funds, and Investment Support Fund).
