Bashkiria subsidized domestic air transportation for 102 million rubles

This year Bashkiria subsidized domestic air transportation for 102 million rubles. This was discussed at a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Alexander Yurchik and the Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Raif Abdrahimov. As the representative of the federal agency stressed, it is co-financing from the regions that is the key condition for participation in the program of domestic air transportation support.

Four directions from Ufa are subsidized from the budget of Bashkiria this year: to Krasnodar, Orenburg, Rostov-on-Don, and Samara. These flights are operated by Siberia, Azimuth, UTair, Orenburg International Airport and Rusline Airlines.

The route subsidies mean fixed prices for airline tickets for passengers. Their price will be significantly lower than they would be in the market.

Also, the list of destinations that received state support included flights to Ufa from Novosibirsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Nizhnevartovsk, Naryan-Mar.
