Ufa may host Iranian Business Forum

Representatives of Iranian and Bashkir entrepreneurship tentatively agreed on holding the Iranian Business Forum in Ufa. This was reported by the press service of the Chamber of Commerce RB.

The Islamic Republic of Iran was represented by Yaser Haretdin. He noted that the company Bonyad was an association of the food industry enterprises, uniting 70 firms, and worked under the patronage of the government of the country. The Iranian association supplies products to the domestic market of Iran and Armenia, Tajikistan, Iraq, and the EU.

The deputy representative of the Bonyad company, director of the Asha company (Turkey) Meysam Abbasi noted that Iran had a great interest in Bashkiria since the republic could become an anchor point for sending goods to other neighboring regions.

Note that currently, Iran supplies vegetables, fruit, and dried fruit to Bashkiria. Iranian businessmen are ready to consider the possibility of supplying products manufactured in the republic to Iran.
