Sports facilities to be built in Ufa in 2019 are named

The head of the Ufa administration, Ulfat Mustafin, named sports facilities to be constructed and reconstructed this year.

“Creating conditions for physical education and sports for all categories and groups of the population is one of the tasks of the Presidential May decree. One of the main directions of its implementation is to expand the sports facilities network in the city”, the mayor stressed at the next meeting of the Ufa City Council.

According to him, it is planned to open a sports training center in Kamyshlinskaya Street in the Leninsky district, an indoor skating rink in the Ordzhonikidzevsky district and a pool in the Kalininsky district in the Bashkir capital in 2019.

In the same year, a reconstruction of the “Neftyanik” swimming pool will be completed, and construction of an international wrestling center is planned. The development of design estimates for constructing the Fencing Center and the Rowing And Canoe Sports Center has begun.

“We are planning to reconstruct the “Stroitel” Stadium. The expertise and design estimates are ready. I hope that the republic will support us in this area”, said the head of the Ufa administration.

In addition to large sports facilities, it is necessary to build annually sports facilities in the city, universal sports facilities and horizontal bars, hockey rinks in residential areas.

Thus the focus will be made on the development of mass sports in Ufa, Ulfat Mustafin added.
