Bashkir industrial enterprises profit amounted to almost 223 billion rubles for year

Profit of industrial enterprises of Bashkortostan amounted to 222.7 billion rubles in 2018, the Industry Minister RB, Alexey Karpukhin, stated at a board of the department. At the end of 2018, industrial production exceeded 1.7 trillion rubles. (+ 18% to the level of 2017). The index of industrial production was 103.4% with the average Russian indicator of 102.9%. Of the 29 types of economic activity, 14 showed growth in production. A moderate increase was demonstrated by manufacturers of furniture, computers, electronic and optical products, electrical equipment, and chemical products.
The average monthly wage in the industry was 39.6 thousand rubles, with an average republican salary of 35 thousand rubles.
According to the Bashkir Statistics Agency, the volume of investment in fixed assets of enterprises and organizations from January to September 2018 amounted to 99.5 billion rubles. The main share was occupied by processing industries - 31% of all investments, 18.5% are mining operations, transportation, and storage - 10.6%, real estate operations - 8%.
One hundred forty priority investment projects are being implemented in the republic for the construction of new, expansion and reconstruction of existing industries totaling 487 billion rubles. More than one-third of investment projects - 46 relate to industrial production. Their successful implementation in the amount of 353 billion rubles will create more than 10 thousand jobs. The main focus is made on the introduction of cutting-edge, world-class technology and technical re-equipment.
Among the significant events of the past year, the Minister named a launch of ecological units at the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim plant (a complex of biological treatment plants) and the Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant (in the high-strength wire workshop; it will eliminate the use of acid and reduce industrial waste eight times from 240 thousand up to 3 thousand cubic meters per day). He also recalled that in December, Beloretsk Metallurgical Plant launched new equipment for the production of import-substituting multi-strand ropes, and NefAZ started to produce new bus models.
