A Russian Industrial Forum is being held in Ufa, during which a meeting of the Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov with the heads of large industrial enterprises of the region was conducted.

According to Radiy Khabirov, now there are good conditions for the development of industry, as evidenced by the growth of industrial production in the republic by 3.4% in 2018, while on average in Russia it was 2.9%. In addition to the development of traditional industries - petrochemistry, defense production, attention should be paid to new growth points, said Radiy Khabirov. For example, an electric trolleybus production - "Gorozhanin", which was recently presented in Ufa. The trolleybus was also presented today at the exhibition held as part of the forum at the VDNkH.

Now the Government of Bashkortostan is conducting an inventory of the tools to support investors. It establishes contacts with the federal center - the Ministry of Industry of Russia.

“One of the main directions of the industrial production development in the republic is to create industrial parks. We will focus on it. Moreover, although we have a lot of industrial parks in Bashkiria compared to other regions, it is still not enough. We have appointed a person responsible for the development of this area in the Government of the republic – the First Deputy Minister of Industry and Innovation Policy Farit Gilmanov, ”said Radiy Khabirov.

In addition, a new format of interaction between the republican authorities and large industrial enterprises may appear - “Industrial Hour” session or the “Investment Hour” session will be expanded. Radiy Khabirov offered business leaders to write down his mobile number to solve complex urgent issues directly with him.
